I wondered that, too. I imagine it's a matter of aiming, as Sait said, but... I dunno it seems like it would be awkward.
Would a troll and a blood elf even be able to procreate? That would be some interesting children right there. And just thinking about gnomes with any other race is enough to send anyone into giggles, in my opinion.
